Choosing the correct collar size is important, please follow the measuring instructions carefully. If you are in doubt please contact us.

To order the correct collar, two measurements are required:

Measurement A

Using a dress makers tape, measure the girth of the base of the neck. As the measurement is taken leave a little extra so two fingers can be placed underneath the tape.

Measurement B

Using the same tape, measure the distance between your dog's existing collar (include the collar) and the base of the ears. Order a collar width approximately 18mm (1/2 inch) less than the measurement taken. The straps which hold the two collars apart are strengthened so we are looking for a comfortable fit and not to rub the ears.

Example

If your dog measures 22" at A  and 5" at B, order the Medium 24" x 4.5". This will ensure a comfortable fit.
